Growing up in the Pismo Beach area, Dr. Abney graduated from Arroyo Grande High School in 1984.  Having only the vague idea that he michht consider studiying Chiropractic Medicine, he enrolled at Cuesta College, a nursing school in San Luis Obispo.  While studying at Cuesta it became clear that chiropractic was to be his chosen profession. After obtaining a AS degree he wehnt on to study as Palmer College of Chiropractic West where he graduated in 1992 as a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC).

Durning his final years at Palmer, he worked as a postceptor and Associated Dorctor under Dr. Jane Federle.  It was also at this time, that Dr. Abney became engaged to his wonderful wife Noelle.  Dr. Abney and Noelle started commuting from Belmont to the San Francisco daily and it became clear that it was time to relocated closer to work.  Just months prior to his wedding in 1993 he and Noelle moved to Brisbane.  In January of 1994, he met the local chiropractor Dr. Richard Kemp who offered to sell him Brisbane Chiropractic.  Dr. Abney accepted and has been the primary doctor in Brisbane since.

Later in 1994 I joined the Lions Club and have been an active member since.  I was the president, the secretary and currently the tail twister.  My most favorite event is the Crab Feed which I am the lead chaiman.  By the way the Crab Feed is always in February if you would like to attend feel free to contact me for tickets.
