What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic care is a hands-on, drug-free approach to treating health issues by restoring proper joint movement and alignment—especially in the spine. Using gentle, targeted adjustments, chiropractors improve joint mobility and help the body heal from both traumatic injuries (like falls) and repetitive stress (like poor posture).
Misalignments in the musculoskeletal system can interfere with the nervous system, leading to pain and dysfunction. Since the spine houses and protects the nerves that connect the brain to the rest of the body, spinal health is essential to overall well-being.
Chiropractors also treat other joints with great success, including knees, hips, and shoulders. Chiropractic is often used for pain relief in muscles, joints, and connective tissue, and is also a powerful tool for prevention—much like exercise.
Unlike traditional medicine, which often focuses on managing symptoms, chiropractic care addresses the root cause. Like other forms of physical medicine (e.g., physical therapy or acupuncture), it often requires a series of treatments to achieve lasting results.
Our approach is simple and structured, guided by 5 Phases of Care.
5 Phases of Care:
1. Trial Period
Every new chiropractic patient must first start with a trial period to determine if chiropractic treatment will be an effective for their condition. A Trial of chiropractic is 6 visits in the first 2 weeks. Upon completion you should be experiencing significant and encouraging signs that the treatment is moving you towards correction. If successful you qualify to continue with the initial pain relief phase of treatment. If you do not have success we will make sure you are referred to the appropriate health care professional that can help you.

2. Initial Pain Relief
This phase of treatment is designed to get you out of pain fast. This will take 6 to 12 visits over 2-4 weeks. The treatment will reduce your pain to manageable levels.

3. Complete Correction
The goal of any treatment plan is to resolve your condition. This phase of treatment takes 4-8 visits over 2-4 weeks. During this phase of treatment we will use proven pain relieving treatments that will get your body back to normal and ready for the rehabilitative phase of treatment.

4. Rehabilitative Care
The Rehabilitative phase of treatment is designed to give you the tools you need to keep your condition from returning. This phase of treatment takes 4 weeks and has a strong emphasis on home care and lifestyle corrections.

5. Wellness Care
Completing corrective and rehabilitative care qualifies you for one of our reduced-fee wellness plans. Wellness care or supportive care is a personalized phase of treatment that is designed to keep you healthy and prevent any setbacks that might occur after your condition has been corrected.
